Make Sundried Tomatoes with this super easy recipe! It's amazing how delicious and fresh they taste when you make them yourself.

 1 kg Fresh Spar Tomatoes: Cherry or Baby
 Spar Sea Salt, just a sprinkle (the tomatoes will halve in size)
 Olive Oil (storing them in a jar filled with olive oil)

Preheat oven to 100°C.

Slice your tomatoes in half lengthwise.

Place the tomato halves on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt.

Bake for 3 Hours, depending on how quickly your oven dries them out. You want the tomatoes to take on a leathery texture.

Optional:
Season the tomatoes in the jar with olive oil: add garlic glove or three, a sprig of rosemary and chilli or you can sprinkle with dried herbs and seasoning for the last ½ hour (such as Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed chilli flakes etc)

Use as desired. Store in refrigerator.
